Council Can’t Walk And Chew Gum: THE VOTER

So is city clerk Caitlin Salter MacDonald saying that, in the summer when the goverance staff did their consultations, they didn’t know that the budget was on Ottawa City Council’s workplan between Nov. 13 and mid-December?




Like it is every year except an election year? That darned budget – it really shouldn’t sneak up on people like that.

She’s also saying that council can’t walk and chew gum at the same time since they can’t have two issues in front of them for their consideration at the same time.

Curious.
