Councillor Matt Luloff Charged With DUI

Orleans East-Cumberland Councillor Matt Luloff has been charged with impaired driving.

His court date has been set for Aug. 8. Luloff is being defended by noted lawyer Lawrence Greenspon who emphasized  that Luloff is presumed innocent.

The councillor has resigned from his Conservative candidacy for the federal riding of Orleans. He is also chairman of the Ottawa Public Library Board.

Impaired driving is a very serious charge. The Bulldog will refrain from commenting on the case, barring unusual circumstances, until the councillor has had his day in court.

The Bulldog has turned off commenting on this post.
