Friday Morning’s Ottawa Transportation Disaster (Eastbound)
Ottawa is experiencing a traffic perfect storm Friday morning with the closing of Highway 417 at Preston Street for fast-bridge replacement.
This coincides with the closing of Ottawa’s troubled O-Train for two weeks of maintenance plus other major city routes closed or reduced in lanes, all at the same time.

Traffic will get worse this evening as the Ottawa Redblacks play at already-congested Lansdowne.
