Here’s The Release On Bus Crash Inquest





This is the release from the Ontario Solicitor General’s office on the inquest into the 2019 Westboro bus crash:

Dr. Louise McNaughton-Filion, Regional Supervising Coroner, East Region, Ottawa Office, has announced that an inquest will be held into the deaths of Judy Booth, Bruce Thomlinson and Anthonia Van Beek.

Ms. Booth, 57 years old; Mr. Thomlinson, 56 years old; and Ms. Van Beek, 65 years old, died on January 11, 2019, following injuries sustained when a public transit bus crashed at an Ottawa transit station.

A discretionary inquest has been called to examine the circumstances into their deaths. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
