It’s hard to believe that in March we are worrying about brush fires.

But this is nature’s way of screaming for help in a rapidly changing climate.

For yourself and the sake of the community, please be safe with fires right now:

With our crews battling multiple brush fires in the last ten days, along with abnormally dry conditions due to a shortened winter, a city-wide burn ban was put into effect as of yesterday.
