Island Park Drive Immortalized In Song

The Citizen this morning found an unusual local video.

It speaks to the grandeur of Island Park Drive which most people think of as a traffic jam.

But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The street is a National Capital Commission driveway thus it has some exotica. Lovely trees, big beautiful homes.

But the cars leading up to the Champlain Bridge … the cars. oh my.

OK so it’s not Broadway or 42nd Street but it’s ours.
