Earlier this month the City of Ottawa met with its partners to discuss resolving the hub-assembly issue that resulted in the LRT derailment nearly three years ago. The details are confidential.

Council will soon be briefed on another LRT Phase I problem, yet again behind closed doors.

Ongoing technical issues have resulted in derailments, lengthy delays and, most certainly, the destruction of public trust in a system that was promised to be life-changing for transit users.

The Confederation Line eastern extension was set to open at some point this fall but that was a fallacy. Construction, testing and training are ongoing, the details are unknown.
