Maybe auto insurance companies should knock off a few grand if owner of stolen car can’t prove she/he had a wheel lock or other security? And knock off a few more if keys were left in the car? Note: Stolen cars increase insurance rates for all of us.

A newish, higher end vehicle stolen in Canada or the US and shipped across the ocean to a place where luxury vehicles do not sell in volume, represents an opportunity for the car manufacturers to sell a new vehicle in Canada or the US. Simple economics, Mike. Simple economics.
