Storytelling Fest Celebrates 30 Years

This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

Get ready to discover your inner hero as the Ottawa Children’s Storytelling Festival returns on November 2, 2024.

Now in its 30th year, this annual event is organized by the Ottawa Public Library (OPL) and Ottawa StoryTellers. The festival will run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at Ben Franklin Place (101 Centrepointe Drive), where professional storytellers will share stories in English and French in the Chamber.

Children aged 2 to 12 and their families are invited to hear thrilling tales of superheroes, legends, and everyday champions. In addition to oral storytelling, families can look forward to crafts and games. The Heroes edition of the Ottawa Children’s Storytelling Festival will let children’s imaginations soar. Registration through Eventbrite is recommended.
