Never mind the mayor
With technology as it is, there should be no need for any world leader to travel to all these foreign meetings
They go for photo ops, lavish travel and dining, BUT ACCOMPLISH NOTHING.
ALSO THEY COULD SHOW THEIR CONTRIBUTATION TO SAVING THE PLANET
THEY PREACH RESTRAINT YET CONTRIBUTE MORE CARBON FOOTPRINT THAN SOME TOWNS AND CITIES…..FOR NOTHING.
I just listened to Mike Patton’s recording regarding the Mayor’s so-called trip to London. For the life of me I couldn’t believe he had the nerve to travel all the way to London just for a marathon. Big deal! He needed this trip like he needed a hole in his head. He should have listened to Mike Patton. Also he could just stay home and do a marathon here in Ottawa. What was the big deal of that marathon? Go figure!!
And, he wasn’t even a contender to “win” the marathon.
Mike you stand corrected, he could have participated virtual. Yes it’s a thing. virtual marathons. everything could have been done from the comforts of his Ottawa office.
