Sutcliffe Finds ‘Fairness’ Petition Supporters

Well, of course. Who could be against ‘fairness’?

Your agent has not signed the petition because I’m against fairness. I think everything should be unfair. If you don’t sign the petition, you’re against fairness so it’s only fair to sign the petition.

“Hello sir. Are you in favour of fairness? If so, you should sign our petition. If you are against fairness, you should not sign. But sir, unlike the provincial and federal governments which don’t believe in fairness, the city only supports fairness. You should always be in favour of fairness. So sign our petition which has taken a very strong position backing fairness.”

That said, fairness is in the eye of the beholder.

One wonders if the city is against over-spending, robbing reserves, missing deadlines, incompetence, lying, lying by omission, not staying on budget and forcing the public to pay for massive city mistakes. Doesn’t seem fair does it?

This is a message from Mayor Mark Sutcliffe from X:

The replies to his post are rather unfavourable and thus it’s surprising so many people in Ottawa are against fairness. That’s rather unfair.

I want nothing to do with X or its creator and I think it’s very unfair that I would have to join it to respond to the mayor’s petition.

So big deal he went all over 24 wards. What does that make him? He’s still a loser and I don’t actually believe he is telling the truth to anyone now.. He’s just trying to get the public to believe him. I sure hope not. He’s ruined our city enough and I would never believe a word that comes from his mouth. To think this is the Capital City of Canada.
