Where’s The Statue For Michael J. Fox?

Performer and Canadian icon Michael J. Fox has raised more than $2 billion for Parkinson’s through his foundation.

Here he performs with Coldplay at the Glastonbury music event this week which, by reports, brought many people to tears during the show.

It drew 210,000 people.

Canada erects statues to war heroes and icons. Certainly Fox with his outstanding movie career and his work for Parkinson’s deserves an honour here in Ottawa.

Let’s do it while he can still enjoy the ceremony and tribute:

    I don’t think this is fair. Lots of people of all everything get awards.

    As a Canadian, born in Edmonton, his humanitarian efforts have been be recognized with the Order of Canada. If you are waiting for a statue in Ottawa that will be up to the NCC,
