Parking Ticket Sanity Prevails: PATTON

Did they stop because they understood it made no sense and was unfair to citizens to pursue decades-old tickets? Or was it because they discovered that the cost of pursuing them was greater than any possible revenue they might gain?

Had I been the subject of one of those tickets, I would have been looking for my day in court and demanding, among other things, that they produce the bylaw officer who wrote the ticket. I’m sure that individual would be able to recall everything about the writing of the ticket including the weather, a description of the vehicle and numerous other pieces of relevant information.
