Ottawa Libraries Open Again After Police Probe

This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

Sent on behalf of Pierre Poirier, Acting General Manager, Emergency and Protective Services Department

Due to a police investigation all Ottawa Public Library locations including Adisoke and their attached recreation and cultural facilities were closed Friday afternoon. The safety of residents and staff is our top priority and as a result staff and the public at the facilities were asked to evacuate.

The incident is now resolved, and the facilities will reopen where applicable.
