I’m not sure some old divisions on City Council aren’t showing here. I don’t think either Hubley or Tierney like Shawn Menard much. Just so we know what we are watching.
Putting things in perspective, recall Tierney’s ethical issue two elections ago, and Hubley’s performance highlighted in the LRT inquiry. Pots calling the kettle black?
Why don’t you ask Councillor Hubley where significantly more than half of his 2022 campaign funding came from? The saying about people in glass houses comes to mind.
The deal was made with Menard the city has now stepped in and essentially stolen the developer’s gift. Since the terms have now changed the developer should feel free to cancel the deal and withdraw the offer.
