City Mismanaged Into Fiscal Mess: BENN

 

 

City hall is in denial about how to treat it’s self-inflicted wounds.

A year or so ago the city published its Infrastructure Master Plan. The one that showed a funding shortfall of $10.8 billion. The one that was created after passing the Official Plan. To meet the physical requirements to handle the day-to-day needs of not just the city’s existing million-plus residents. But to handle the day-to-day loads that an additional 400,000 residents would put on the various water lines, sewer pipes, roads and sidewalks. And the existing recreational properties.
