OC Transpo Buses Stage Rebellion: THE VOTER

Very interesting choice of wording on the X post on the OC Transpo bus shortage.

It’s the buses that are “missing their trips”, not the drivers or OC Transpo. Obviously OC Transpo general manager  Renee Amilcar has lost control of her fleet if those pesky buses are now making the decisions about whether or not they will turn up for a particular trip.

Maybe this is what happens when you hold onto buses after the date the manufacturer has given as their best-before. Some of these buses are now well into their teens and obviously trying out a little rebellion. I can hear it now – “You can’t make me go out there on the 93 route. I don’t like it and I’m going to my bus bay to rev my engine endlessly.”

I’m not sure of what the vehicle equivalent of human imitation is or if it encompasses inanimate objects but OC Transpo has definitely succumbed to it.
