Ottawa Eclipse-Viewing Weather Improves

The weather forecast for Monday afternoon in Ottawa shows signs the eclipse might be visible.

The forecast for Monday afternoon is mixed sun and clouds, light winds and a temperature of around 16 C.

There is a 20 per cent chance of showers.

So Ottawans have a chance of seeing the very rare solar eclipse. Here the coverage of the sun will be about 98 per cent.

Remember to wear special approved sun protection while viewing or watch on television. The chance of eye damage without protection is very real even for short glances.
