LRT Stage 1 Real Cost … $2.245 Billion

This is a chart released from City of Ottawa media relations to The Bulldog:

The cost of Stage 1 light rail has usually been listed at $2.1 billion. The chart above shows money authorized for it as $2.245 billion. The actual spending on it has been $2.231 billion. This could change over time.

Missing from the chart above is the $300 million expenditure to repair the Rideau Street sinkhole.
