No St Patrick’s Day Parade? No green food colour in beer? Ottawa certainly has become dull and boring. Hopefully the new night time mayor’s position will be filled in time to make the city fun again.
P.S. The correct abbreviation of “St. Patrick’s Day” is “St. Paddy’s Day”, not “St Patty’s Day”. A patty is a bit of cooked meat such as you find in a hamburger. Paddy is the diminutive of “Pádraig” which is the original Gaelic name of the saint in question. Patrick is an anglicized version of Pádraig.
