Rats! PATTON

All cities of 1,000,000+ people have rats. What we see is the tip of the iceberg. They live in our sewers, they live inside the walls of our houses, our basements, between our ceilings and our roofs. They live in colonies and are very organized; they send out scouts before descending en masse. Rats have been around since, well, forever. They’re not our friends but for the most part can be ignored. If you want to get rid of rats in your home call an exterminator and be careful about using poisons, particularly if you own dogs and/or cats. Should we be counting on city hall to resolve any rat problems we have within the city or are high-ranking city staff just throwing up a smokescreen to deflect our attention away from other matters.
