AG To Table First Lansdowne Audit On June 10

This is part of an internal memo obtained by The Bulldog:

“We understand that this subject matter is of great interest to many Ottawa residents. As such, we will be publishing the scope of our first audit “sprint” in the coming week or so, once it has been finalized. We are tentatively scheduled to table the first audit (sprint) report at Audit Committee on June 10, 2024.
Over the course of the project our intention is to share as much information about our audits as possible with members of Council and in turn the residents of Ottawa. While this is not a common practice for most municipal, provincial and federal Auditor General’s, our hopes is that this practice will enable our Office to continue to provide timely information about the work we conduct and in turn answer many pressing questions.

Let’s hope this audit is more substantive than her weak investigation of the Ottawa Police Service’s work at the Freedom Convoy.
