Bulldog World Headquarters Agog With New Record
All the bulldogs here at world headquarters have smiles on their faces this morning.
Bulldog pageviews broke through last month’s record readership by about 30 per cent. The real number is 131,726 pageviews a week during the month of November.
The scribblers here would like to take credit for this rocketing readership but it’s probably related to the continuing controversy surrounding Lansdowne 2.0.
So a special thank you to Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group plus Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and his elves at Ottawa City Hall for their help. We couldn’t have done it without you.
And if all that is not enough, our recent live chat on City Hall In Crisis drew about 31,000 pageviews over two hours. Lots of thanks are due on this but particularly to the Bulldog Commenting All-Stars who each day make this publication a good read. And a special thank you to Saturday columnist and noted journalist Ron Benn who got the chat started. Ron’s contribution to this esteemed publication is outstanding. Plus thank you to former city councillor Clive Doucet who beamed in all the way from Cape Breton. What a guy.
How Mayor Mark Sutcliffe Is Helping You
And heard through the grapevine was a statement from a senior Citizen editor who said that The Bulldog was that organization’s competition. Wow. We’re not much competition but to be thought of as competition is a much appreciated few words. We can dine out on that which is a step up from our usual diet of Milk Bones.
So that’s about it. An early Christmas present for The Bulldog. Thank you readers, contributors, Lansdowne, commenters and all the people who help The Bulldog. It’s a joy and honour to know you’re all aboard.

Could not do it without our lead dog and his owner Thanks Ken. Now that you have the attention and interest of many Ottawans how to motivate the majority to actually get out and vote as well as become activists?
Thank you, Bruce.
Bruce I have enough trouble finding my way home at night let alone that mighty task you gave me.
I guess we just keep writing and caring and hope it resonates with some people.
cheers
