City Treats Timing Of French Storm Translation Like A Joke
If you ever felt like you were a second-class citizen dealing with the City of Ottawa, here is your opportunity to say that.
OC Transpo sent out a release 5:15 p.m. concerning its preparations for the Tuesday night storm.
The French translation for that release came out at 7;15 a.m. the next day. It outlined all the preparations for OC Transpo getting ready for the severe winter event.
By the time the French release came out, it was four hours after Environment Canada had declared the weather event over.
In fact, the sun was just peeking through the horizon on a calm day when the missive was released.
