The Bulldog Has A New Mobile App

Stop dealing with awkward mobile bookmarks in your phone browser.

Instead use the most advanced mobile app available today.

Called Super PWA, it creates a mobile copy of The Bulldog by simply placing an icon, like the one below, on your mobile homepage.

Rather than dealing with awkward bookmarks on your phone or tablet, tap on this icon and The Bulldog immediately appears on your screen. Open your phone homepage, tap on the icon and you have The Bulldog in micro-seconds.

PWA is quickly being adopted by phones and browsers replacing conventional apps. You load it straight onto your phone rather than going to Android or Apple stores, searching for an app and then downloading it. In fact, The Bulldog mobile app isn’t available in those online stores.

On Android phones in the Chrome, Edge and Samsung browsers, a pop-up appears when you load The Bulldog the first time and asks you to install the app. Tap it. Then the icon above appears on your homepage and you’ve got The Bulldog.

For Firefox and Safari, you enter the browser menu and load the add-on app there. Then you have The Bulldog icon on your homepage. You’re done. The Bulldog is ready to start from your mobile homepage.

A word of caution, some old versions of browsers or just browsers themselves have not yet adopted the technology but are in the process of doing so.

Download The Bulldog mobile app and save time opening the website Where Ottawa Matters.

And best of all, it’s free.
