You might not know what those targets are … citizens being such simple people … but we illustrious royalty at city hall set these targets in a survey that is likely to be woefully pie-in-the-sky.

Nevertheless, you don’t know what those targets are but we do because we are elaborate planners who know so much more than you. And we will monitor these targets thoroughly like we did with light rail, Lansdowne and the wildly over-budget and unnecessary new central library. But damn those bookworms sure get nice offices … but I digress.

Those targets that you little people couldn’t possibly comprehend will be met, dammit.

Then this survey will be on-time and on-budget.

We’d explain that concept to you but it’s doubtful you would understand.

Anyway, we wrote this press release because we are required to because we … urr …. must show that we care. Without that requirement, we would most likely not give a damn.
