Diane, therein the problem lies. The cumulative efforts to solve all the tertiary problems that can possibly be identified (and then some) often results in a failure to achieve the primary goal. Just another example to support my lament of a week or so ago about how all the pre-conditions set by council, and more particularly the self interest groups that the councillors are pandering to, prevent meaningful, tangible, measurable progress. Save and except for the volume of ‘likes’ on social media. That is the one measurable metric that council excels at.
