  1. Bruce says:

Hubley states “the headwaters of the Jock are in my ward” Has his ward expanded to Rideau-Goulbourn? Staff have been caught out of control and Hubley defends staff and ex mayor Watson. No wonder staff are not responsible to anyone but developers. A previous councilor when presenting to Rural sub committee was asked why the haste…reply “because Mattamy wants it” this in 2010 and in relation to Caivan/Mattamy rural development desires! Wonder where the penny was being spent?

  2. Bruce says:

Should there be a consideration of a STOP WORK and sales for this development because of risk to the city, homeowners other property owners upstream and the environment! Commensurate with a STOP WORK should be a FULL restoration of the Jock to the condition prior to the ILLEGAL cut and fill!

  3. Bruce says:

??? If there are no homes being or to be built in the floodplain under discussion why the need for a cut and fill? To change the very character of the flood plain?so as to make it more appealing to what end ? Committee tied on the vote shows once again the disdain some councilors have for public concerns and their love of the developer industry!
