Maybe the feds are waiting to see the results of the LRT procurement audit before they throw any more money into the pit?? Uh, did I mean ‘pot’, not ‘pit’! Pit would kind of imply there was an endless money pit called the LRT here in Ottawa.
It will be hard for the feds to rationalize giving any more money to Ottawa when what they’ve already contributed hasn’t produced much in the line of reliable transit services and there’s a damning report out on the process to date.
