INCINERATION: Alex Cullen, You’re W*R*O*N*G

Former Ottawa city councillor Alex Cullen might not grasp incineration. Here is his tweet to Ottawa:

Ex-councillor incineration gives off greenhouse gases (as do you). It does eliminate many toxic elements (but not all) and some greenhouse gases can be reduced through modern practices but nevertheless greenhouse gases are released.

But incineration creates greenhouse gases.

So Alex … you’re W*R*O*N*G.

Incineration is no way to deal with waste.
