Laurier Avenue Roadwork Late

This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

Reconstruction of Albert, Queen, Slater and Bronson

laurier.reconstruction

The City of Ottawa is rehabilitating portions of its underground infrastructure along Albert Street, Queen Street, Slater Street and Bronson Avenue.

The project will replace portions of the existing sewers, roads and watermains. It will also reconstruct the street right of way, including the implementation of improved street features in which physical elements are incorporated into the design, where feasible, to offer safety, comfort and mobility for all road users.

For more information about the project, visit ottawa.ca/albertreconstruction.

Update on Laurier Avenue closure between Bay Street and Bronson Avenue

Due to slower than anticipated progress with the sewer replacement, we must extend the closure of Laurier Avenue until 3 pm on Wednesday, November 8.
