LRT Running, Buses And Para Transpo Delays

This is an OC Transpo service update as of 10:32 a.m. Saturday morning:

Sent on behalf of Renée Amilcar, General Manager, Transit Services Department

Good morning, Mayor and Members of Council,

This email is to provide an update on OC Transpo services during this ongoing winter storm.

Heavy snow has been falling for several hours. O-Train Line 1 launched this morning at its normal time and continues to operate. As with all road users, bus and Para Transpo customers should anticipate delays today.

Customers should allow plenty of time when planning their trip and use caution when boarding and exiting at bus stops or stations.

Customers may also see double-car trains in operation this weekend. This operational decision was made to ensure that resources are focused on clearing snow at critical rail infrastructure and to simplify overnight operations, allowing staff to complete key maintenance activities.
