If there are any tunnel experts out there, we’d sure like to hear from them given this memo.

This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

A few simple observations from a simple minded person.
First Does the LRT attempt to run between 1 AM and 5 AM? if so at what frequency?
Would it not be more sensible and cost effective to close the tunnel at these times for 8 sessions at a time when there are less demands on the system and so less need for frequent R 1
Last observation If the tunnel is leaking to an extent deemed unsafe, how long will it be out of service to effect repairs? The LRT is how old and in need of normal tunnel waterproofing? Really? Me thinks the whole of Ottawa municipal government is in need of and past due a deodorizing!
