  1. Bruce says:

More to the point. Simplify the costs and benefits to the taxpayers of Ottawa.
How much money does Ottawa invest into the deal?
What is the rate of return over what time span?
When does Ottawa actually see a return what year?

What does the developer invest how much over what length of time?
When does the developer see a return on investment Year please?
What is the rate of return for the developer?
Who actually OWNS the buildings and land after development?
Who is responsible for the maintenance of the land/buildings and for how long?

All simple questions I would ask as an investor, which after all you and the city are in these “negotiations”, as represented by city council and the Mayor

  2. Kosmo says:

Negotiation would require some reading, some understanding and knowledge of the subject. Work most councillors are not willing to put into their job.
