I’ve watched the sunrise at the Alhambra, stood beside an ocean of ripened Manitoba wheat that stretched to the horizon on a cloudless day, looked up at the Sistine Chapel, took in the view from Montmartre and the miracle of Florence from the surrounding hills, but few sites in my life matched that of Tina Turner at the height of her talent beside the corner of the stage.
