It has been in the low 20’s the past week and right through until the end of this coming week here on the shores of the Northumberland Strait. The windows are wide open with the fresh ocean air blowing through. The bonus… no murders, drive by’s, etc. After 62 years of living in Ottawa and knowing the city was on a downward trend since the murder of Nicholas Battersby circa 1995 it was time to go. Having lived in Toronto, Calgary, etc my experience showed me this is what was happening. Hopefully I have passed on before the trend hits my new abode on the east coast though (admittedly) there are already signs of the insidiousness creeping in.
Sorry we lost you Anderson but it sounds like you’ve found a nice place.
