Excuse my ignorance but what I see is the failure of a part not what caused the part to fail. Having said this I am aware that these carriages were designed for the Ottawa market and are “specialty” configurations BUT simply put I would think designed using more robust parts and specifications as in the metallurgy?
So what caused the parts to fail? What is the real root CAUSE not the effect! Design? Metallurgy? Track configuration?
