Laurier Avenue To Be Closed For A Week
This is a release from the City of Ottawa:
Laurier Avenue, between Bay Street and Bronson Avenue, will be closed in both directions from 6 am on Monday, October 30 until 10 pm on Monday, November 6.
The temporary closure is required to facilitate sewer replacement as part of the
Albert/Queen/Slater/Bronson reconstruction project.

Traffic impacts
Traffic detours will be in place for the duration of the closure. Transit is not impacted by this closure.
Parking and local access
On-street parking will not be possible during the closure, and signage will be in place. Local access will be maintained for residents, business owners and emergency vehicles only.
Pedestrians and cyclists
Pedestrian and cyclist access through the work area will be maintained throughout the closure.
