One Person Critical After Bus-Car Crash

The release below doesn’t say this but the driver of the car is in critical condition after the crash.

This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

Mayor and Members of Council,

As you may have heard, there was a collision involving an OC Transpo bus and a car yesterday afternoon around 3pm on Blohm Drive.

There were 7 passengers aboard the bus at the time of the collision. Two of the passengers as well as the bus operator sustained minor injuries and were assessed by EMS on location, then released.

Ottawa Police Service is leading the investigation and OC Transpo continues to cooperate with those efforts.

Should you have any further questions, please contact OPS directly.

Our thoughts are with everyone involved in the collision.

Thank you,

Renée Amilcar

General Manager, Transit Services Department

City of Ottawa
